The Meyers 200D

The fastest, normally aspirated, production piston single-engine 4-place aircraft ever built.

In 1966, a 200A piloted by Bill Brodbeck set the world speed record for Class C-1.b Group 1, speed over a

3 kilometer closed course of 227.24 mph which lasted almost 18 years.  A standard production 

Aero Commander 200D, piloted by Don Washburn, at the same time set the world record in Class C-1c of

 239.5 mph over the same 3 kilometer closed course.
